Welcome to GHAI Studio ("GHAI", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website, AI writing workshop, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
1. Updates to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time (for example, if we incorporate as a business in a new jurisdiction or add new features). If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Ownership & Intellectual Property
2.1 Your Content
GHAI claims no ownership rights over the inputs you provide or the outputs generated by the AI. As between you and GHAI, you own your inputs, and you retain all rights to the outputs to the extent permitted by applicable law. Note that copyrightability of AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction.
2.2 License to GHAI
By using the Services, you grant GHAI a limited, non-exclusive license to securely store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.
2.3 AI Training
We do not use your private data to train our AI models. Your creations are yours.
2.4 Privacy & Manual Review
We deeply respect your privacy and aim to manually view your content as little as possible. However, we reserve the right to manually review your content if it is flagged by our automated systems or reported by other users for potential violations of our Content Policy.
3. Community & The "Crate" System
GHAI allows users to package their characters, items, and settings into "Crates" and publish them to the community.
3.1 Publishing Crates
When you publish a Crate and make it visible to the community, you grant all other GHAI users a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to view, import, use, modify, and create derivative works based on your Crate. Users who use your Crate are not required to provide attribution to you.
3.2 Content Moderation
Before a Crate is made public, it will automatically be scanned by our AI Guardian model to check for Content Policy violations. If the Crate fails this check, it will be refused publication and set to "Private."
If a public Crate is reported by other users, it will undergo a manual review by our team. If a manual review reveals severe violations of our Content Policy, the offending user may face account suspension or permanent banning.
4. Sponsorships, Credits, and Refunds
4.1 Sponsorships and Activation Tokens
Access to premium features, increased storage, or additional AI generation credits is provided through a sponsorship model using third-party creator platforms.
When you sponsor the project, you may be issued an activation token to redeem on our platform, or your account may be credited automatically via webhook integrations. These third-party platforms act as the Merchant of Record for your transaction. By contributing, you also agree to their respective Terms of Service.
4.2 Credits Expiration
- Redeemed Credits: Credits acquired through token redemption or active memberships do not expire.
- Free Credits: We reserve the right to set expiration dates for free, promotional, or trial credits in the future.
4.3 Refund Policy
Because computing costs are incurred immediately upon generation, our refund policy is strict:
- One-Time Sponsorships: Eligible for a full refund only within 7 days, provided you have consumed less than 5% of the granted credits.
- Memberships: Eligible for a refund within the first 7 days of the billing cycle, provided you have consumed less than 20% of the credits allocated by that subscription cycle.

4.4 Abuse of Free Trials
Creating multiple accounts to repeatedly claim free trial credits (Sybil attacks) is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to immediately terminate all associated accounts without notice or refund.
5. Content Policy & User Responsibility
5.1 Family-Friendly Environment
GHAI strives to maintain a family-friendly platform. You agree not to use the Services to generate, store, or share content that is sexually explicit, highly violent, promotes hate speech, or violates the law.
5.2 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you generate. GHAI acts only as a tool.
5.3 AI Watermarking
When you officially export a book or manuscript through our platform, it will be marked as "AI Generated." If you choose to remove this mark after export, you assume all legal, ethical, and copyright-related responsibilities that arise from presenting the work as entirely human-made.
5.4 Violations
Violations of our Content Policy will be met with actions scaling with the severity of the offense. This ranges from warnings, temporary bans, to permanent account deletion.
6. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
6.1 AI Accuracy (Hallucinations)
Artificial Intelligence is an experimental technology. The AI may generate outputs that are factually incorrect, nonsensical, or inadvertently offensive ("hallucinations"). You should not rely on GHAI for factual, medical, legal, or professional advice.
6.2 Third-Party Providers
Our Services rely on third-party infrastructure and AI model providers. While we strive for high uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime, delays, or data loss caused by outages or technical failures of these third-party providers. Your use of the Service is also subject to any applicable usage policies of our upstream providers.
6.3 "As Is"
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GHAI Studio, its affiliates, and providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights (including copyright).
8. Account Termination & Data Retention
8.1 Standard Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. If we terminate your account for non-severe reasons (e.g., discontinuation of service), we will reasonably attempt to give you notice and time to export your data.
8.2 Severe Violations
If your account is terminated due to severe violations of these Terms or our Content Policy, your account will be terminated immediately, with no grace period to retrieve your data, and your data will be permanently lost.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts within Mainland China.
Depending on where you access the Services from, you are also responsible for complying with your local laws.
