Welcome to GHAI Studio, operated by Lv Qisheng. This Refund Policy governs purchases made on our platform.

1. Merchant of Record (Paddle)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles the secure processing of your payment, related local taxes, and provides basic customer service inquiries regarding transactions and returns.

2. Subscription Cancellations

You can cancel your "Starter Plan" subscription at any time.

  • If you cancel, your subscription will not renew at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • You will retain full access to your plan's features and your allocated credits until the end of the paid billing period.

3. Refund Eligibility

Because AI text and image generation incurs immediate computing costs, we enforce specific usage limits for refunds:

3.1 One-Time Purchases (Credit Top-ups)

You are eligible for a full refund on a one-time credit purchase if you request it within 7 days of the purchase date, provided that you have consumed less than 5% of the credits from that specific package.

3.2 Subscriptions

You are eligible for a full refund of your current billing cycle's charge if you request it within 7 days of the charge date, provided that you have consumed less than 20% of the credits allocated to you for that billing cycle. You may request this refund even if you have accessed premium models, so long as your total credit consumption remains under the 20% threshold.

4. Technical and Account Consequences

If a refund is processed (either by your request or via a dispute):

  • Credit Deduction: The exact amount of credits granted by the refunded purchase will be immediately deducted from your GHAI account balance.
  • Negative Balances: If you have already consumed some credits and a refund is issued, this deduction may result in your account having a negative credit balance. You will not be able to generate further content until you top-up to restore a positive balance.
  • Chargebacks & Disputes: We urge you to contact us or Paddle to resolve any billing issues. Initiating a bank chargeback or payment dispute without contacting support first is considered a violation of our policies and will result in an immediate and permanent ban of your account.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you can:

  1. Reply directly to the email receipt you received from Paddle.com.
  2. Contact Paddle buyer support directly at paddle.net.
  3. Contact us directly at support@ghai.studio with your account email and Paddle order number, and we will process the refund on our end.
